Media FAM Trip Invitation

If you are a media person and would like a media media familiarization trip (FAM trip) to Riviera Nayarit on the Pacific Coast of Mexico, the Riviera Nayarit Visitors and Conventions Bureau (CVB) welcomes  you.

The Riviera Nayarit CVB supports numerous media FAM trips each year designed to highlight our world class facilities including:

• Nayarit hotels
• Activities & attractions
• Nayarit spas & wellness
• Championship Nayarit golf courses
• Dining & Entertainment
• Nayarit shopping
• Plus wedding venues, adventures/tours, and much more

To be considered for the program, journalists must have an assignment with a media outlet with a readership and/or viewership that is aligned with our target audiences in key markets. Freelance journalists must have an assignment letter or correspondence from the editor of the outlet indicating that the story will be published.

Media Familiarization Trip Policies:

• Media are responsible for incidentals such as phone calls, mini-bar, non-scheduled meals, and laundry.

• Sponsorship does not extend to guests of the media and the CVB is only able to make arrangements for journalists on assignment.

• Outlets that request to send a photographer or additional crew/staff members in addition to a journalist, must produce a feature story that reaches The Riviera Nayarit target audience (this will be determined on a case-by-case basis).
• All media traveling to Riviera Nayarit on a sponsored trip must complete a Media Profile Form before they arrive at the destination.

If your editorial policy prevents you from accepting sponsored Media FAM trips, we are happy to provide media rates and serve as a resource as you develop your Riviera Nayarit itinerary.
