Pacifico Golf Course Punta Mita Mexico
Here, in 1999, the renamed Punta Mita Pacifico Golf Course course was inaugurated. This par-72 course is famous for its 3b-style hole —the only one in the world— known as the “whale’s tale” as it is located on a natural island 199 yards from the tee and along the beach.
This emblematic course, designed by famous golfer Jack Nicklaus, is joined by another worthy course, the Punta Mita Bahía, which promises to delight even the most experienced players from around the world.
“You couldn’t ask for more beautiful scenery for a golf course than Punta de Mita,” comments Nicklaus. This second par-72 course that is a true challenge for golfers with its 18 holes is distributed across hilly terrain with Miniverde greens and Bermuda fairways surrounded by exotic gardens.
The golf course includes five par-threes, eight par-fours, and five par-fives, and the green has a peculiar slope with a deep bunker on the left side.
This destination offers you a unique golfing experience with fantastic views of the Pacific Ocean. It is no wonder that Punta Mita Mexico has earned recognition as one of the most important golfing resorts in the world.
